Solklint is located on one of the 30,000 islands in the northern archipelago on Georgian Bay. The expansive cottage is great for a large or extended family or a couple of families to share.
Solklint Cottage on Island A38 is a secluded, wild and beautiful place. This 11-acre island within the North Archipelago is part of a vast scattering of glaciated islands of ancient rock and windswept pine on the east coast of Georgian Bay. The Kupp’s Solklint property is a 10-15-minute boat ride from Pointe au Baril Station. Solklint Cottage is the South-East half of Island A38. The north-west half is privately owned, and unoccupied, except by a family of busy beavers in their magnificent lodge. This is a classic Georgian Bay Canadian island cottage wilderness retreat. The cottage is a fully equipped, five-bedroom bungalow, furnished with the same carefully maintained furniture, dishes and décor originally brought to the island by the first and only other owners, when the cottage was built in 1967.
